Normally I don't need to deal with people who call the station, it's not my job. But the usual girl who deals with the phones is out this week because of the flu which means we're sort of rotating to take over the job for now.

Boy-o. Let me tell you, this girl has so much more patience than I ever knew.

I thought conspiracy theorists were all online, but apparently they still call radio stations. I think we should be petitioning to get this girl a raise. Or pay for her therapy at least.

I can't believe that is almost the end of October. This year seems to have flown by. The Fall semester is half over and before you know it, it will be time for finals. I'm getting old, that's all there is to it.

What's everybody planning for the weekend? You've got Halloween on a Saturday with an extra hour thanks to the clocks turning back.

Which means the first Halloween since becoming this a werewolf, I'm spending it running around the woods with a tail. Plus the extra hour or however that works out in moon time.

You know you've been out of the job game for too long when the idea of pulling a resume together results in you nope'ing out so hard that you literally go back to bed for the rest of the day.

Halloween at the hospital is always interesting. Luckily I'm not in the Emergency Room, or in direct contact with patients. But it never fails, every year, that the newest aid finds themselves in the morgue on accident and gets scared out of their mind.

I've yet to discern whether or not they're truly lost or simply drawn to the basement subconsciously by other means.

Stay tuned for the security camera footage, though.

Can we all avoid witches for the next eleven days? They're always a bit active and touchy this time of year and I'd rather not deal with anyone getting cursed or controlled by magic.

One full month without incident. It's really not much to ask for.

That story - you know - the one about the yellow wallpaper. What was the point of it? Was it just that wallpaper is a bad idea? I think that was it.
